The 1st 2017 World Hainan Entrepreneurs Convention was rounded off successfully, which was held in Haikou New International Exhibition Center. The Exhibition lasted 3 days, June 27th - June 29th, with the theme “Belt and Road Initiative, Gathering Hainanese Entrepreneurs”. 
About 3050 people from 45 countries and regions attended the Fair. It is understood that this is the largest Fair in Hainan Province since the establishment of the province in 1988. Gathering the worldwide Entrepreneurs, this will be positive and far-reaching impact on the development of Hainan province.
Hainan Province is the third largest province of the ancestral home of overseas Chinese in China. According to incomplete statistics, there are about more than 3.6 million Hainanese overseas Chinese doing business in more than 60 countries and regions around the world. They write a magnificent poem in business using their hardworking hands and wisdom. We call this group of people "Hainanese Entrepreneurs". For a long time, they do business in foreign countries, work hard, accumulate a wealth of business experience. In order to promote the exchanges and cooperation with the world's Hainanese Entrepreneurs, and attract more powerful and experienced Hainanese entrepreneurs to participate in the construction of Hainan International Tourism Island in Hainan province, the Hainan Government held this Fair “2017 Hainanese Entrepreneurs”, with the theme of “The Belt and Road Initiative, Gather worldwide Hainanese Entrepreneurs, build better beautiful Hainan province”.

The exhibition is held in Haikou New International Exhibition Center, covering 13,000 square meters, attracting the overseas exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions, including Russia, Italy, Poland, New Zealand, Ghana, South Africa, Iran, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan. According to statistics, a total of 773 booths are booked, and 60 companies missed the exhibition because of the lack of booth. There are various products displayed in the Exhibition Center, including biological, pharmaceutical, building materials, plastics, energy saving and high-tech products, Hainan tropical fruits, electrical and mechanical, light industrial products, food, medicine, tourism, etc.
In addition, The local cities’ exhibitors (Haikou, Sanya, Qionghai, Sansha, etc.) and oversea exhibitors (Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Italy, South Africa, Japan, Thailand, South Korea and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, etc.), they all showed the products with their respective characteristics, as well as the cultural elements with regional characteristics.

Secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Congress Director Liu Cigui stressed at the ceremony: “Use the best resources to attract the best investors, build more beautiful ecological environment for people, develop the economy and tourism environment together”.
More than 2,000 Chinese and foreign investors and guests participated in the Signing Ceremony of Hainan Province Investment Promotion Project, signed four “strategic cooperation framework agreements” and 109 project agreements in the signing ceremony, the total amount of agreements sums up to 310 billion yuan.
It is reported that the Hainan comprehensive investment activities lasted a week, totally signed 280 projects agreements, the total agreement amount is 450 billion yuan. This is a successful and brilliant Fair.
