2017 Gailisu the 4th International Windsurfing Grand Prix (WGP), Sanya Classic event is ended perfectly. On Nov. 15th, the 3rd competion of WGP - "Haikou Grand Prix" will start passionately on the west coast in Haikou.
This event attracted a total of 17 windsurfing clubs at home and abroad (nearly 200 windsurfing enthusiasts) to participate. After two days of fierce competition, Hu Yu-xin, Chen Lulu and Xie Qian from Sanya University won the women's championship, runner-up and second runner-up respectively. Kong Delong won the men's championship, Yang Haiming won the runner-up, Wang Yan wood won the third place.

"Haikou Grand Prix" will be held on November 15 in the west coast of Haikou. The tournament race system fully upgraded and adapt with the international standards gradually. At the same time, it combines the tourism market in Hainan with the theme of "bring windsurfing to travel ..." and attracts lots of contestants.
Through the success of previous tournaments in past years, it not only promotes the development of the sports tourism industry in the international tourism island, but also enhances the image of the tourism city, and stimulates the vigorous development of the coastal recreational sports, in order to build a more beautiful new Hainan.
2017 Gailisu the 4th International Windsurfing Grand Prix (WGP), Sanya Classic event is hosted by Hainan Provincial Culture and Sports Radio and Television Publishing House, Haikou Municipal People's Government; and undertaken by Hainan Provincial Sports Center, Sanya City Cultural Radio and Television Publishing Sports Bureau, Haikou City Culture Radio and Television Publishing Sports Bureau, Sanya University and Hainan Province Sailing Association. This event is run by Hainan Zhongti United Tournament Co., Ltd.
